Calvin Harris (didn’t REALLY create disco but we like him anyway)

Calvin Harris is the latest UK dance sensation (out of many) who has taken America by storm. He played his first US gig in New York last week and those who went were pretty positive about it although it has been said that his live performances are nowhere near as good as his recordings. His debut album is called I Created Disco (hmmm ok…) and it is quite infectious.

Spike Jonze Spends a Saturday with Kanye West and M.I.A.

Spike Jonze, one of the most innovative and interesting filmmakers of recent times has launched a series of interviews on VBS.tv where he spends a Saturday with a prolific artist. So far he has hung out with Kanye West and M.I.A. and both pieces are extremely candid and fun to watch. Check them out now on VBS.
