The nominees for the prestigious British music award, The Mercury Prize, were recently announced. The nominee list features some of the best UK talent and is the perfect guide for your iTunes shopping.
The complete list is as follows:

You already know that I love Bat For Lashes and Jamie T so it is no surprise that I am totally gunning for them. Although I do love the new Arctic Monkeys album, they have had their turn! Give someone else their moment in the spotlight (cough, Jamie T, cough).
