Satisfaction

by

A day after the vital newsflash that Keith Richards may or may not have snorted (the ashes of) his father, let’s take a moment to listen to a great cover of a Rolling Stones standard…

PJ Harvey and Björk perform “Satisfaction.”

it must have something to do with my age - I was a youngun (okay, mid-teens) when the original was sung. ;) I can’t seem to get the sound thingy to work.

The Stone(r)s were never a real fave of mine as a teen, but I do like some of the music.
Thanks for a trip down memory lane.

Barbara - Uh-oh! The music thingee works for me. Did you click on it to ‘activate’ it, then clik the little ‘play’ triangle?

I would call The Rolling Stones a favorite of mine, either, but I do like some of their music and I think there’s a lot of talent there.

I’d take PJ Harvey or Bjork any day of the week, though. :)

When was this cover done? I don’t think I have ever heard it. I don’t know what it is but I have always liked Bjork. I miss the sugarcubes…PJ Harvey is a blast from the past name I had forgotten.

    I love Bjork. :)

This was done live back in 1994.
